GLITCHED
Glitched is a third-person/first-person action dodging and racing game where the main goal is to use your reflexes and the intuitive dash mechanic to get by all obstacles. The dash is what makes Glitched - its feel and reach is what will allow you to reach the end! In single-player mode, players will have to reach the end to unveil more of the lore, while in multi-player, players try to race against each other to see who can finish the levels in the shortest amount of time!

dIRECTOR/3D ARTIST/TECHNICAL ARTIST/VFX ARTIST
For this project I worked as the game designer, artist, and animator. I created all the character assets and animations as well as all shaders and VFX utilized throughout the game. I used ZBrush and Maya for all modelling and animations. Shaders and VFX were created within the Unreal Engine environment.

Most of my work was focused around using the shader/material graph for the various emissive and vibrant materials used in this game. I learned a lot about Unreal’s shader node system and even created a toon style post processing effect with Unreal Engine that works with the neon art style in the game. I also used and learned Unreal’s Niagara particle system in which I created the player’s dash and invisible effect as well as death effect and lasers throughout the game. I worked heavily with the level designer to create the cybernetic building blocks around the map and even the turret model placements and feel. Other than art creation I was also heavily responsible for team coordination as I put this game together as the lead director, pushing for the game to have a certain feel and style. I worked heavily with the programmer, level designer, and sound artist for 4 months to put this project together.
